THIRD ANNUAL ALTOIDS
CURIOUSLY STRONG ART COLLECTION Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions hosts the Third Annual Altoids Curiously Strong Collection. The newest installation of the Collection includes work by Rev. Ethan Acres, Sanford Biggers, Todd Brandt, C5/Lisa Jevbratt, Jane Callister, Beth Campbell, Santiago Cucullu, E.V. Day, Tim Gardner, Jack, Hallberg, Frederick Hayes, Jonathan Horowitz, George Kimmerling, Jim Lambie, Miranda Lichtenstein, Julie Mehretu, Yunhee Min, Helen Mirra, Michelle Rollman, Susan Smith-Pinelo, Stephanie Syjuco, Vincent Szarek, Clara Williams, and Almond Zigmund. Started in 1998, the Altoids Curiously Strong Collection of contemporary art is a showcase for some of the most talented, emerging visual artists working in America today. The Collection is comprised of work made in all media, including photography, video, mixed media, sculpture, painting and digital art. Reception to be held Saturday 14 July from 5 pm to 7 pm.
