Lot 30 Richard Renaldi has fashioned himself as a chronicler of urban life, often in his home town of New York City, and individuals from the subcultures within it – such as shoppers strolling Madison Avenue, West Side perambulators strolling the piers, and elderly gay men and lesbians. Next month he will have a solo show at Western Project in Los Angeles, and since 1990, when he earned his BFA from New York University, his work has been in group exhibitions in Los Angeles and New York. Renaldi earned his BFA in Photography at New York University. |
