A multi-media artist who works in visual art as well as performance, Erin Cosgrove has had work included in numerous group exhibitions since the mid-‘90s as well as recent solo shows at the Carl Berg Gallery in Los Angeles and Printed Matter in New York. Cosgrove, who also works in television, conceived of, created, and directed a “unique live-action and animated ‘mini-plot’,” introduced by Fabio, to be aired on Sundance Channel’s TVLab this year. She has work in the traveling exhibition entitled “100 Artists see God,” currently at the Laguna Art Museum. This year she received the John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, the most recent of many awards, honors, and grants over the past ten years.
