Tom Allen’s work was recently seen in “Morbid Curiousity,” a group exhibition curated by writer and curator Jan Tumlir at I-20 Gallery in New York. Allen received his MFA from Art Center in Pasadena, and is now represented by Richard Telles Fine Art in Los Angeles, where he had an exhibition in November of 2003. The mystery of this perfectly spherical object makes its alternate title “The Brazen Vessel in which Simon Imprisoned Evil Spirits” seem all the more fitting.
