The sundown salon events ( December 8th, 2005 )

for civic matters sundown salon is proposing to host 2 events:

> sunday > jan. 15th > a gathering & mixer for the participants of ‘civic matters’. those visitors from scandinavia & those participating from l.a. will meet for the first time. they may use the opportunity to informally present their work to each other.

> sunday > jan. 29th > a public sundown salon event to present the fruits of the 2 week project. scandinavians and angelenos may collaborate on events, performances, presentations, installations resulting from their time together.

sundown salon started in 2001 when i moved into my house, half geodesic dome, half subterranean cave, surrounded by gardens. an extended community of friends from los angeles and beyond gather on occasional sundays. the house and gardens become a forum for events, happenings, gatherings, meetings, pageantry, performances, shows, stunts & spectacles
